A poster advertising ‘The 8th Contemporary Majutsu Festival Noguchi Shuzo’s Sculptural Experiment. July 19th- September 1st 2001. 20th Anniversary Meeting" as written on the right-hand side of the poster.

The nature of the event advertised is one featuring sculpture and assemblage of plastic arts such as wax, plastic, clay, paint, etc.

Not much is publicly available or documented as to the actual exhibition or the pieces it housed, but the poster itself is abstract in nature and depicts a center focal point of blue and green with blurred printed strokes pointing inwards and printed red semicircles on either side. The bottom black area of the image seemes to be a physical object, rock, foam, or otherwise, that has then been photographed on top of the original printed work, casting a physical shadow unto it.

Kazumasa Nagai (永井 一正), born April 20th, 1926, is an Osakan graphic designer and printmaker who specializes in more abstract visual communication style that focuses on bold colors, most notably central  red, in his work. He has a relatively flat style with printed pieces that feature bold shapes and colors similar to the piece above. He is the creator of Nippon Design Center, and he has created an array of iconic mon-inspired logos, such as Saitama Bank, Tokyo Advertising, and the Tokyo Central Museum, notably  which also incorporate a similar usage of naturalistic shapes and contrast.
